With Blackjack the player needs to hold cards that come as close to 21 as possible. That is why
another name for the game is ‘21’. Face cards are valued at 10 and Aces are 11, so getting one
of each is enough for 21. The combination of game simplicity, choice of playing options (at Private,
Group or Public tables) and good player odd makes Blackjack a popular online casino game.
Blackjack Rules
- The playing odds are generally 3:2, meaning that you will get back $15 if
you bet $10.
- Score 16 or less and you can 'Hit' – get more cards.
- Score 17 or more and you must 'Stand' – no more cards.
Playing Blackjack
- Set your betting amount, then click 'Deal'. The game starts after everyone
has pressed 'Deal'. At Group or Public tables there is a 30-second delay to allow everyone to
do this.
- Decide if you should Deal, Stand or Split, based on your total card value.
If you split, decide which card will continue the game. If your value goers beyond 21, you 'Bust'.
- You are free to gamble amounts ranging from $1 to $500.
- Should both you and the Dealer get Blackjack together, this is called a 'Push'
– your bet money is returned to you.
